Day-by-Day Itinerary

Arrival in Leh – Rest & Acclimatization

Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh (11,562 ft), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is reserved for complete rest and acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust comfortably to the high altitude and lower oxygen levels of Ladakh. In the evening, if you feel comfortable, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the vibrant Leh Main Market, where you can explore local handicrafts, traditional souvenirs, and regional cuisine. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Leh.

Sham Valley Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to Sham Valley, one of Ladakh's most popular sightseeing circuits. Begin with a visit to the Hall of Fame Museum, maintained by the Indian Army, which showcases the region's military history, culture, and the bravery of its soldiers. Continue to the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, an important Sikh pilgrimage site, before heading to the fascinating Magnetic Hill, famous for its unique optical illusion that appears to defy gravity.Later, visit the breathtaking Sangam, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, where the contrasting colours of the two rivers create a spectacular natural panorama. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the enchanting Nubra Valley, crossing the legendary Khardung La Pass at an altitude of 17,582 feet, one of the world's highest motorable passes. Enjoy breathtaking views of the rugged Himalayan landscapes as you descend into the valley. Upon arrival, visit the historic Diskit Monastery, home to the magnificent giant Maitreya Buddha Statue, which overlooks the valley and offers spectacular panoramic views. Later, explore the picturesque Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a memorable ride on the rare Bactrian (double-humped) camels, a unique attraction of the region.
