Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Transfer to Gangtok
Upon your arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to Gangtok, the picturesque capital of Sikkim. Nestled at an altitude of 1,670 metres (5,480 feet), Gangtok is renowned for its serene atmosphere, thrilling adventure opportunities, ancient monasteries, vibrant festivals, and mystical traditions. It is also celebrated for its stunning natural beauty, featuring colourful rhododendrons, orchids, and a rich variety of butterflies. Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 120 km (about 4 hours) to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The evening is free to explore the lively MG Marg (Mall Road) or the local shopping areas at your leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast, embark on a scenic excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake and the revered Baba Mandir, located approximately 40 km from Gangtok (around 2 hours by road). Nestled at an altitude of 3,753 metres (12,310 feet), Tsomgo Lake is a stunning oval-shaped glacial lake, nearly 50 feet deep, and remains snow-covered for most of the year. The lake is also home to Brahminy Ducks and several species of migratory birds, making it a paradise for nature lovers. Continue your visit to the sacred Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh and an important pilgrimage site for visitors to Sikkim. After sightseeing, return to Gangtok. The evening is at leisure to explore MG Marg (Mall Road) or visit the local shopping areas. Overnight stay in Gangtok. Note: In the event of adverse weather conditions, landslides, or government restrictions issued by the Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation (STDC), if Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir remain inaccessible, suitable alternative sightseeing will be arranged wherever possible.

Gangtok Half-Day Sightseeing – Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the Flower Exhibition Centre, the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (closed on Sundays), Dro-dul Chorten, Bakthang Falls, and Gunjan Monastery, each offering a glimpse into the region's rich culture, spirituality, and natural beauty. After lunch, proceed on a scenic drive to Darjeeling, covering approximately 110 km in about 4 hours. Situated at an altitude of 2,123 metres (7,000 feet), Darjeeling is popularly known as the "Queen of the Hills." Renowned for its lush tea gardens, breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, and panoramic views of Mount Everest (weather permitting), the town is one of India's most celebrated hill stations. Darjeeling is also home to the world-famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the vibrant Mall Road or Chowk Bazaar, where you can enjoy local shopping and the charming hill town atmosphere. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Tiger Hill Sunrise & Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Begin your day early with a 3:45 AM drive to Tiger Hill, situated at an altitude of approximately 2,440 metres (8,000 feet). Travel through scenic forests of oak and magnolia to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga (subject to clear weather). On your return journey, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery, the Batasia Loop, and the Peace Memorial, each offering unique cultural and scenic experiences. Return to the hotel for breakfast before setting out on a half-day sightseeing tour of Darjeeling. Visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, the renowned Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), enjoy a ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway, and explore Tenzing Rock, a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts. Continue to the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays) and the Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays), showcasing the region's rich cultural heritage and biodiversity. After a memorable day of sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling – Transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your onward journey. The drive covers approximately 80 km and takes around 3 hours, offering a final opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Himalayan foothills. Guests are advised to depart early to ensure a comfortable and timely arrival at the railway station or airport. Your tour concludes with wonderful memories of the enchanting landscapes, cultural heritage, and unforgettable experiences of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
